Radio Television Belge de la Communauté Francophone (RTBF), the public broadcasting station of the government of the French-speaking part of Belgium, decided it needed a data warehouse for operational reporting.
The company chose Talend Data Integration for its centralized metadata management within a single repository, collaborative development options, and technical support services tailored to the business needs of RTBF.
The company now uses Talend to load the data warehouse—30 data sources are connected, including financial software (general accounts payable and cash management) and a range of other applications. Three developers use Talend to develop data flows, and some 50 users daily depend on the data warehouse to conduct analyses. RTBF has found that the openness of Talend solutions, plus its rich connectivity and the strength of its community, help give the company an advantage in a highly competitive media landscape.
