Creating a safer world for vulnerable families and children
The local authority for Oxfordshire, Oxfordshire County Council (OCC), is committed to delivering top-quality services and value on behalf of the county's 600,000-plus residents.
Above all, OCC is tasked with protecting the welfare of the county’s constituents. But when data comes in from more than 400 information systems, finding early warning signs is like looking for a needle in a haystack.
Using Talend MDM, OCC has built a single view of children and at-risk adults, cross-referencing information from all public services—such as education and social care—and then orchestrating the data governance.
That single view interface is now accessed at least seven times a day by people from the city council, childrens’ social workers, and early intervention and special education teams.
