Optimizing management and offering a million different ways to enjoy fruits
At the end of 2006, the MATERNE and MONT BLANC companies joined forces and merged into MOM, now a rapidly growing, independent French agribusiness company with an international focus. While there is nothing revolutionary about fruit compote, in 1998 the brilliant idea was to use a packaging unit originally invented by the Japanese for weightless NASA flights. In 2012, with the need to analyze a customer’s (supermarket
chain) outgoing payments, the group became aware of the ETL solution’s limitations.
Back in late December of 2013, MOM decided to deploy Talend Data Integration to improve the collaborative work, by breaking it down into functional areas, Thanks to Talend, MOM is tracking sales, payments and performance of product sites to rapidly identify problems that would otherwise slow down or impede production, e.g. overuse of a specific component (raw material, packaging).
