Expediting credit issuance by supporting the entire customer journey
Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Crédit Agricole Group, is a key player on the European consumer credit market. Working with Accenture, Crédit Agricole Consumer Finance launched a widespread digital transformation to improve the customer experience across all digital channels. As part of it, a Big Data platform program has been initiated and Talend is a core component. It is used to develop most of the data ingestion and processing jobs over several technologies (MapR Distribution, Spark, Hive and Vertica).
A dozen uses were developed in less than a year, including monitoring website performance and enabling very detailed analysis of Internet users’ clickstream patterns from A to Z. Finally, the company also offers customers the option of using their social network data with their consent, to expedite online credit simulation and issuance.
