In May, we had shared an announcement that we were working to provide Microsoft Azure enterprise customers a native solution to help them accelerate their cloud data warehousing journey on Azure. Today, we are excited to let you know that Talend Cloud on Microsoft Azure, an Azure-native Integration Platform-as-a-Service for collecting, transforming and cleaning data, is now officially available! In this blog, we will highlight a few features on how this solution can help enterprise customers make trusted business decisions faster.
Connectivity for all disparate data
Similar to Talend Cloud on Amazon Web Services, this release includes over 900 connectors and components for those customers required to pull data from structured, semi-structured and un-structured data from on-premises and cloud apps into Azure. We support any major enterprise systems such as SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Marketo and Azure services including Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure HDInsight, Azure Databricks, and more. Talend Cloud on Azure supports all the major public clouds- Azure, AWS, Snowflake and GCP with a unified environment. You can design your integrations once and spread them across your multi-cloud environment as needed.
Building a scalable data warehouse
Companies can easily move data from their local databases to Azure SQL Data Warehouse for more agile data warehousing. With Talend, you can efficiently integrate at any scale on Azure and adopt the latest technologies, including: serverless processing with Databricks or Qubole, Machine Learning, CI/CD, Spark, microservices and containers.
This unified environment is future-proofed, so you can update infrastructure as you go with minimal impact. You do not need to rearchitect your environment. If you are architecting a hybrid environment, we make it simple for you to deploy remote Cloud Engines for Azure from the Azure Marketplace.
Delivering Projects Faster
Talend Cloud provides a full environment to develop and test projects quicker with the built-in software development lifecycle (SDLC) capabilities. This release also comes with native integration into Azure DevOps, so you do not need to learn a brand-new workflow and can get things done faster. The Zero CI/CD Install capability eliminates your struggle setting up and managing the system and lets you easily get your Talend workflows integrated into the Azure DevOps services in minutes.
Enabling Trusted Insights
Machine-Learning enabled Data Quality is integrated throughout the entire data integration and management process, including pre-built data quality rules and templates, so you can create a single source of trust for your data. Privacy and security of data is also guaranteed throughout its journey. Talend provides a set of encryption and data masking capabilities to ensure compliance with applicable data privacy regulations.
From a trusted data perspective, you can empower your business units and your data experts across the company to use self-service tools and collaborate better to deliver more meaningful and trustworthy data through forthcoming Cloud Data Preparation and Cloud Data Stewardship apps running on Azure. (These apps will be available by the end of 2019).
