Companies are becoming increasingly aware that they have a goldmine in their hands - their data. For all businesses, the situation is clear – their future depends on how quickly and efficiently they can turn data into accurate insights. It is no longer a matter of simply collecting and managing data either; rather, it’s about quickly optimizing around and extracting value from the astronomical volume of data available. Speed is key here in order to improve decision-making and to use the data at the very moment it becomes available.

For all businesses, the situation is clear – their future depends on how quickly and efficiently they can turn data into accurate insights.

But how does an organization get to this level of agility? Today, we are faced with new challenges in data management: multi-cloud, new regulations related to governance and data processing, the self-service culture emerging among business users, constant pressure to provide innovative applications, budget constraints, etc. These challenges are enough alone to keep any CIO up at night.

We are proud to introduce the ninth edition of Talend Connect that will bring you the tools and training to succeed in architecting your data-driven future, by providing the insight, flexibility, and speed necessary to understand how to embrace today’s technologies and tomorrow’s innovations.

You Have Options!

Talend Connect is the premier forum for exchanging ideas and best practices to meet the challenges of the cloud, big data, and data governance. Our user conference has always aimed to give attendees access to practical presentations on the latest data integration and governance solutions, our roadmap of products, and insights on how our customers are tackling their data challenges. This year's  presentations will cover the following:

  • Achieving maximum data agility using the latest cloud, big data, and machine learning technologies
  • Ensuring the safety of your company's information and compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (or GDPR) with an integrated collaborative approach to data governance
  • Effective management of multi-cloud environments for optimal flexibility and performance

Best Practices for Success

Talend's global clients from various business sectors, including April, Crédit Agricole, Carhartt, Travis Perkins, Paddy Power Betfair, and the University of Pennsylvania will take the stage and explain how Talend has helped them architect innovative solutions and has benefited their agility in the ever-evolving big data and multi-cloud digital climate.

Some of the topics covered will include the increasing sales by maintaining a 360-degree view of the customer, how to extract information from unstructured data, the rationalization and harmonization of data processing procedures, and the acceleration of innovation based on the contribution of real-time processing.

Finally, the winners of the Talend Data Masters Awards will be announced. This annual program recognizes clients using Talend solutions in innovative ways to make their companies more agile, competitive, and data-oriented. Finalists have been meticulously selected from over 1,500 customers around the world, representing large public and private organizations from every possible field. Among last year's winners were the following companies: Air France KLM, the Consortium International des Journalistes d’Investigation (ICIJ), Lenovo and UNOS (United Network for Organ Sharing).

Where will you be on October 16th?

For the first time this year, we are organizing the Talend University on the eve of Talend Connect. This day is designed specifically for Talend users in order to accelerate data skills with hands-on training. The program features one-on-one training sessions with Talend experts, case studies using a proven study curriculum, and opportunities to acquire new skills.

There will be plenty on the agenda from our partners as well thanks to the Partner Sales Insights event, designed to uncover big data and cloud market trends. We will also include a preview of what we have planned for 2018.

Discover, Share, Network

Beyond the presentations, Talend Connect is also a chance for you to network and connect with professionals who share your point of view. You will have access to a partner's area to learn from and interact with Talend experts, as well as to bar demos showcasing Talend Data Preparation and Talend Real-Time Big Data solutions.

It is our honor to welcome you to the second European edition of Talend Connect. More than 500 participants are expected to attend this year, and we hope you'll be among them! If you can't attend with us in Paris, we'll be live streaming the event on Talend's YouTube channel.
