Talend continues to deliver best-in-class, retail-specific data integration solutions on AWS
Talend (NASDAQ: TLND), a global leader in cloud data integration and data integrity, announced today, at the AWS re:Invent Global Partner Summit in Las Vegas, that it has achieved Amazon Web Services (AWS) Retail Competency status in the Advanced Retail Data Science Category. AWS Retail Competency Partners have demonstrated technical proficiency and proven customer success across numerous innovative solution areas in retail spanning Data Lakes, AI/ML, Voice, Recognition, IoT, Microservices, and Retail Transformation.
AWS Retail Competency Partners undergo rigorous validation by AWS to ensure alignment to AWS best practices for building secure, high-performing, resilient, and efficient cloud infrastructure for industry applications – in order to give customers increased confidence when making decisions. Achieving the AWS Retail Competency differentiates Talend as an AWS Partner Network (APN) member that delivers highly specialized technical proficiency. To receive the AWS Competency designation, APN Partners must possess deep AWS expertise and deliver solutions seamlessly on AWS.
“Talend is proud to achieve AWS Retail Competency status, helping us to further stand out as an innovative solution for retail customers,” said Michael Pickett, SVP of business and corporate development at Talend. “With over 50 shared customers in retail and consumer products, this designation only furthers our relationship with AWS. Our team is dedicated to helping companies achieve their technology goals by leveraging the agility, breadth of services, and pace of innovation that AWS provides.”
Talend Cloud provides over 900 transactional, operational, and analytic data connectors and components which can be used to quickly connect load and process data from virtually any source into AWS. Talend’s unique capabilities provide a single platform with data quality and governance capabilities built in. Data engineers, ETL developers, and business analysts use Talend to create consistent and trusted data for the enterprise.
“We chose Talend Cloud Data Quality because, out of the box, it had all of the routines we needed to implement our data,” said Lee Wilmore, Data Intelligence Director at TI Media. “In our short 60-day window, TI Media was able to implement Talend Cloud Data Quality on a Snowflake database in AWS. Talend is easy to use and the cleaning and deduplication functions are built in. We built the cleaning process in about five minutes. I’ve bought many systems over the years and I’ve never seen three systems work together so easily and in such a frictionless way.”
AWS is enabling scalable, flexible, and cost-effective solutions from startups to global enterprises. To support the seamless integration and deployment of these solutions, AWS established the AWS Competency Program to help customers identify Consulting and Technology APN Partners with deep industry experience and expertise.
