Turns out the gaming industry is not that different from many others. Customers want a more personalized experience in exchange for their loyalty. And data analytics is the key to driving more personalized campaigns and targeted promotional offers.
A survey of betting customers by Talend found that they are increasingly fickle: 11% of regular bettors say they use more than four bookmakers and 52% use more than 1. What would make these customers more loyal? More than two-thirds of customers (67%) say they would stay loyal to the brand if offered more personalized service options, such as tailored odds/offers; exclusive offers in real-time or targeted push notifications to their smartphone.
