The purpose of the EAP is to observe how users behave when using the software and identify any weaknesses or usage difficulties based on participants’ usage experience. We use this information to make improvements to the software ahead of the official launch and to improve customer engagement. To reach these objectives, we will process your data the following ways,
Access to the EAP software and documentation: Talend will process the personal information provided in the EAP registration form to send you an email invitation to access and/or download the software, the appropriate documentation to help you implement the software, and information on how to get support.
Internal EAP reporting: product usage data will be recorded and analyzed to build weekly status reports, these reports will also include the feedback you provided, and the bugs reported. We will also process your personal information to send you requests for feedback, and requests to complete user surveys about your usage experience.
After termination of the EAP: you will receive a notice once the software is available for use, and a final list of the new features in the software. At this time, the personal information that we collected during the EAP will be permanently anonymized. Certain information about your use of the software, including product usage data, may be retained where we have an ongoing legitimate business need for doing so. Once we no longer have a legitimate business need to retain product usage data, we will either delete or anonymize it.
