MOM Group Selects Talend to Optimize Data-Driven Decision Making
Talend Enterprise Data Integration helps leading European Fruit and Dessert Creams Processor Streamline Data Management
Redwood City, CA - November 13, 2015 -
Talend, the global leader in big data integration software, today announced that MOM Group, the leading European fruit processor, dessert creams and maker of the popular GoGo squeeZ brand of all-natural snacks, has selected Talend Enterprise Data Integration to organize its inter-application data exchanges. Talend's solution is being used to optimize operational monitoring and reporting, as well as the decision-making processes across multiple BI Applications (purchasing, sales, etc.).
“One of the main benefits of working with Talend is the ability to easily allocate various execution servers to each site,” says Pierre Chabal, Head of the Data & Reporting Expertise Center, MOM Group. “We have 6 sites in France and the United States, and the Talend deployment model has allowed us to service all locations while keeping costs under control.”
MOM Group has delegated the integration application core development to Keyrus, a Talend Value Added Reseller (VAR). Helping to streamline deployment across all sites are a wealth of connectors for natively connecting databases, flat files, applications and more. These connectors along with graphical ‘drag-and-drop’ tools and wizards help speed design, testing and code generation, and ensure each production site has the autonomy to perform its own integration projects
“We are now able to launch integration projects in real time after having rolled out Talend ESB. The uniformed nature of all Talend solutions will be a significant benefit for the future and will ensure the continuity of our information system. We now have a dynamic solution for integrating both data and applications which helps us optimize our decision making process,” Pierre Chabal adds.
“MOM Group's well-thought-out and progressive approach to data management illustrates how a company can overcome the obstacles of proprietary technologies and regain control of their data,” said François Mero, senior vice president of sales, EMEA, Talend. “Ultimately, it's the business users who benefit from the increased flexibility and efficiency, which drives the overall growth of the company.”
