Los Altos (CA) - February 13, 2012

Talend, a global open source software leader, today announced that LeanTaaS, a provider of lean analytic tools running in the Cloud, has embedded Talend Enterprise Data Integration (formerly Talend Integration Suite) into its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) application platform that helps its customers accelerate and sustain improvements in operational performance through a suite of customized analytics flexible data integration and an intuitive collaboration capability.

LeanTaaS’ application software enables organizations to drive process and machine efficiencies that lead to increases in yield and customer satisfaction. By configuring its set of SaaS tools to interface with existing systems - from manual data to ERPs - LeanTaaS provides lean analytics and insights for enterprise customers across a variety of sectors, including consumer goods, healthcare, technology, manufacturing and pharmaceuticals.

“When it came time to choose an integration platform, we had several primary considerations we were looking to address; we were looking for a solution we could easily deploy in our Cloud-based environment, we were drawn to the open source model, and we needed a solution that provided a broad palette of connectors to on-premise and Cloud-based data sources,” said Mohan Giridharadas, CEO at LeanTaaS. “Starting with open source, we were able to implement Talend Open Studio for Data Integration and test the product in our own timeframe. It became evident very quickly that Talend was the right solution for our needs, which led us to subscribing to the enterprise edition.”

Talend Enterprise Data Integration serves all needs from batch data movement, ETL for analytics, or real-time synchronization of data stores. By embedding Talend’s data integration technology under the Powered by Talend OEM program, LeanTaaS is able to ensure that client data is loaded automatically and accurately on an ongoing basis.

“LeanTaaS is in the business of custom development, tailoring its solutions on a client-by-client basis,” said Keith Goldstein, Vice President of Channels & Alliances at Talend. “More so, its customers span across many industries and have very different integration needs. The flexibility of Talend’s OEM program has proven yet again that it can help address any integration challenge and LeanTaaS takes full advantage of this by effectively tackling all the different complexities of integration its customers face.”
