Evolving the donor experience to serve the Armed Forces
Founded in 1921, The Royal British Legion is the UK’s largest Armed Forces charity whose mission is to provide care and support to all members of the Armed Forces community. The nonprofit organization was facing an aging donor base and needed to evolve from direct mail to digital platforms in order to attract a younger set of donors. Qbase worked closely with the data stewardship team and Talend to help The Royal British Legion get the best out of the solution.
Talend ingests all types of data, from general response handling to gaming products, online stores, referral campaigns, bank statements and online platforms and makes it possible to identify, at the point of ingestion, what sources are causing the errors upstream. Better quality data coming into the CRM system enables The Royal British Legion to determine which supporters are most likely to make a donation in response to an appeal, which helps drive fundraising efforts.
