Professional Exam


Talend Professional credential exams utilize a lab-based hands-on project to measure a candidate’s ability to implement complex use cases. Preparation is critical to passing. In addition to earning the required credential and taking the recommended courses, Talend expects familiarity with public documentation, and recommend 12 months of on-the-job experience with the product.
This exam covers topics related to the migration of a Talend 6.4 on-premises project (including data integration Jobs and web services) to Talend Cloud. Topics include:
- Running Jobs in Talend 6.4
- Running Talend Administration Center execution plans on a Remote JobServer
- Migrating Jobs to Talend 7.3
- Creating a Talend Cloud environment (users, remote engines, workspaces, and so on) and connect Talend Studio to it
- Refactoring Jobs
- Overhauling context variables and context variable groups to make them Talend Cloud compliant
- Starting and pairing Remote Engines
- Deploying Jobs to a development environment and running tasks
- Promoting Jobs to a production environment and create a plan to run them
Prerequisites
- MANDATORY Talend Cloud Administrator Certified
- MANDATORY Data Integration Developer Practitioner
Recommended experience

- Reviewing basic Unix commands
- Reading product documentation and knowledge base articles on Talend Community
- Acquiring experience by using the product for at least 12 months
Note that candidates who have not completed the prerequisite credential above will not be allowed to take the exam.
