Talend On-Demand Training is an innovative, flexible, and cost-effective way to receive practical hands-on experience with Talend products. Your purchase provides you with remote access to a virtual environment that includes the Talend software, step-by-step tutorial instructions, all required supporting files and applications, priority designation for questions posted to the Talend Forum, and the ability to receive live support from a professional Talend Consultant* if you require assistance during your training experience.
How it Works
When you purchase a Talend On-Demand Training Module, you receive an e-mail within two business days that includes a coupon code entitling you to ten hours of access to your chosen module environment during a seven-day period. When you are ready to begin your training, you connect to the hosted training site and redeem your code. Important: You must redeem your coupon code within 60 days of purchase. You have seven days to complete your module once you redeem your code, and a maximum of ten hours of access during those seven days. Each On-Demand Training module is designed to be completed in an average of six to seven hours, so your ten hours of access gives you ample time to complete the tutorial. You access the remote environment from a Web browser on any computer with Internet access at broadband speeds—80kbps bandwidth is sufficient. You can pause and restart your training experience without losing any of your work.
During the Training
The step-by-step tutorial instructions open in a browser within the remote environment, allowing you to switch between the instructions and the Talend software. If you have a question during your training, a link connects you to the Talend Forum where you can post your question for priority attention from the Talend Forum moderators. If you encounter a problem during the tutorial that prevents you from continuing, another link connects you to a Talend Professional Consultant*, who is able to view your screen and interact with you to help you on your way.
