This course is a supplement to the Talend ESB Basics training course. It helps participants to better understand Talend ESB and prepares them to use Talend products to create and use ESB Conductor, ESB Publisher and Runtime ESB with routes and data services. Generally speaking, the process taught in this class is first develop, then publish, then deploy. The key pieces of infrastructure used to accomplish this is the Talend Studio, Talend Administration Center (TAC), SVN and Nexus repositories and the Talend Runtime.

This course provides a solid introduction to the theory and practice of the ActiveMQ (AMQ) application, which is a reliable message queue management server. Detailed practical work shows the installation, configuration, monitoring and control of AMQ brokers. Examples of JMS features address publish-subscribe messages, queue-based messages, persistent messages and transactional messages. A set of options for deployment and topology of AMQ is also reviewed.

This course enables you to use Talend Open Studio for Data Integration for real work as quickly as possible. It focuses on the basic functionality of the Studio and how it can be used to build reliable, maintainable data integration tasks that solve practical problems: extracting data from common database and file formats, transforming it, and integrating it into targets. Talend Enterprise ESB is a reliable and scalable enterprise service bus (ESB) that allows development teams to holistically address integration projects - combining application integration and data management for complex, heterogeneous IT environments.

This course introduces you to features in the Talend ESB subscription products, Enterprise and Platform, which add advanced deployment and team collaboration facilities, as well as management functions. Team members can store and share their Data Services, Mediation Routes, and metadata in a shared subversion based repository available through the Web-based Talend Administration Center.
