The recognition of Talend as one of the key players in the big data market continues to make progress. In the past few weeks, three of the most recognized publications in the data management and software world have presented Talend with an award, acknowledging the role that the company is playing in helping organizations tackle big data and help businesses gain value from their data assets.
Awards from the press provide a good indicator of how much visibility a company is getting, and as such are a good leading indicator for new or trending technologies. Conversely, industry analysts such as Gartner and Forrester measure with which frequency large enterprises ask about, or use, a vendor/product, and provide a trailing indicator of success and adoption. Both are important, and at Talend we are proud of the recognition we are getting from both bodies.
The three awards Talend obtained recently are:
- CRN Big Data 100 - In 2014 Talend was recognized by CRN as one of the Top 100 Data Management vendors in the Big Data 100 list, which profiles vendors that have demonstrated an ability to innovate in bringing to market products and services that help business work with big data.
- SD Times 100: Big Data and Business Intelligence - In 2014 Talend was named in the SD Times 100, under the Big Data and Business Intelligence category. Talend was positioned as a vendor "making the mountain of Big Data look like a much more manageable molehill."
- DBTA 100 - Database Trends and Applications' DBTA 100 is the list of the companies that matter most in data. In 2014 Talend was included and recognized as a company helping IT to deliver data where, when, and how the business needs it.
