The tradeshows/conferences calendar made it so that two very important events in Germany were happening two weeks in a row:
Last week was the LinuxTag conference in Berlin, the annual meeting of Open Source developers and business users. Talend exhibited at the event and we also hosted a session “Changing the Economics of Data Integration”, hosted by our Business Development Manager for Germany, Martin Lange.- This week, the TDWI European Conference came to Munich. Readers of this blog know that Talend is a supporter of the BI community that is represented at TDWI - and this edition is very good indeed. We are clearly getting excellent traction on this market. In addition our friends at the B-Eye-Network invited us to record podcasts - one in English which I did, and one in German that featured Martin (link not available yet).
Both these events were also great opportunities to meet local members of the press, with some interesting resulting articles (more on this later).
Stay tuned for more…
Yves
