EnterpriseDB and Talend announced today a strategic partnership, aiming to bring advanced data integration capabilities to the users of Postgres Plus and Postgres Plus Advanced Server - the new names of EnterpriseDB’s solutions. EnterpriseDB offers a very interesting alternative to proprietary databases users, and especially to Oracle users since their technology is “plug compatible” with Oracle: you can disconnect all your applications from Oracle, reconnect them to EnterpriseDB, and they will run the very same way, without any change to them.

This is an interesting partnership for all parties involved, and especially our joint users, as we will be working closely together to bring the best of open source data management - database and data integration - to the community.
