Talend Data Mapper Advanced – HL7

The Health Level Seven (HL7) International organization provides standards for the exchange, integration, sharing, and retrieval of electronic health information that supports clinical practice and the management, delivery, and evaluation of health services.

The HL7 v2 standard has been widely used since the early 1990s to exchange medical data between disparate health care applications. A large portion of HL7 messaging is transported using Minimal Lower Layer Protocol (MLLP).

This course covers how Talend Data Mapper (TDM) can help you work with the HL7 v2 standard.

You learn how to use TDM to create and parse complex HL7 messages. Then you learn how to use ESB mediation Routes to implement MLLP for HL7 message exchange between medical applications.
