LOS ALTOS, Calif. - June 29, 2009 - Talend, the recognized market leader in open source data integration software, today announced it has been selected by Everything Channel as a CRN Emerging Technology Vendor. Talend was selected for the value it provides to the channel and end-user customers, and its ability to deliver the highest level of data integration to all types of organizations, regardless of their size, level of expertise or budgetary constraints. CRN's Emerging Technology Vendor list captures companies that are delivering high margins for solution providers with innovative and easy-to-use technology that undercuts industry giants.
Talend Open Studio has more than four million lifetime downloads and 900,000 core product downloads. Along with enterprise-version Talend Integration Suite, it is a less expensive and more scalable open source alternative to proprietary data integration solutions. To keep up with demand and maintain the highest level of service, Talend has a growing channel program that already boasts more than 150 partners worldwide.
“Solution Providers seek out innovative vendors that create new and innovative ideas to help them build revenue and customer loyalty. Our Emerging Tech list is where Solution Providers go to find these vendors. We congratulate all of the vendors for their innovation and creativity and their commitment to the technology sales channel,” said Robert C. DeMarzo, senior vice president and editorial director, Everything Channel.
The vendors who make the CRN Emerging Technology Vendor list were founded in 2001 or later, have revenue under $1 billion and have an active U.S. channel strategy. Final selection to the Emerging Technology Vendor list was made by the CRN editorial team after a review of submitted information.
“Companies continue to fall short when it comes to leveraging their data sets and optimizing the flows of data across the enterprise. They either have ineffective and expensive technologies in place, or home grown solutions they've cobbled together using various proprietary systems or custom code,” said Yves de Montcheuil, vice president of marketing for Talend. “This honor is further validation of our approach to technology and the value that we bring to both the channel and end-user customers.”
