Reed Exhibitions makes a stand with open source data integration solution

Global events organiser chooses Talend Integration Suite & Talend Data Quality to synchronise data

MAIDENHEAD, UK - November 20, 2009 - Reed Exhibitions, the world's leading events organiser, has selected Talend Integration Suite and Talend Data Quality, the leading open source data integration and data quality tools, to help better manage the migration and integration of company data.

Reed Exhibitions will be using Talend's software to support its global enterprise applications programme by providing real-time integration between its online web platform which services over 400 websites and key business applications including Salesforce.com (a staple for Reed's sales and marketing teams). In conjunction, Talend's software will help to synchronise the company's global team as well as helping to align processes such as sales order processing across the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific regions..

Reed Exhibitions runs over 470 events in 37 countries, bringing together over 7 million active event participants worldwide, and with 2,700 employees in 38 offices around the globe, the company handles high volumes of data. This also means that Reed Exhibitions receives data in a range of different formats that must be integrated accurately and quickly.
