Talend and JasperSoft sign worldwide strategic OEM agreement Jasper ETL, Powered by Talend, is the fourth module in JasperSoft's offering

PARIS - January 30, 2007- Talend, the leading provider of open source data integration (ETL) software, today announced the signature of a three-year strategic OEM agreement with U.S.-based JasperSoft, the market leader in open source business intelligence. Under the terms of the agreement, JasperSoft will incorporate Talend's data integration tool Talend Open Studio into its new data management offering, JasperETL TM.

The JasperSoft Business Intelligence Suite (JBIS) includes four key modules: JasperServer, JasperAnalysis, JasperReports and iReport. Starting in mid-February 2007, JasperSoft will offer a new data integration module, JasperETL. This offer comprises Talend Open Studio modified with extensions and connectors optimized for integration with JBIS. Talend and JasperSoft will also work together on sales and marketing initiatives to optimize promotion of this latest addition to their software suite.
