Call for Submissions for the Second Annual Talend Awards

Talend Awards Now Open for Nominations; Recognizing Innovative and Effective Data Integration Projects

LOS ALTOS, Calif. - March 10, 2009 - Talend, the first provider of open source data integration software, today announced a call for nominations for the second annual Talend Awards. The awards recognize innovative uses of Talend's open source data integration software in three categories: best technical prowess, best ROI/business gain and best performance. A jury, composed of members from Talend's technical and marketing divisions as well as senior management, will determine the winners in each category. Winners will be notified before the end of April 2009. Each winner will receive a new Apple IPod Touch and be named “Talend Ambassador.”

“Talend's community of users is comprised of talented and forward-thinking individuals and project teams,” said Yves de Montcheuil, vice president of marketing for Talend. “Their ongoing feedback and contributions to our open source data integration solutions help us enhance our solution to deliver more effective and relevant features for real-world deployments. The Talend awards are our way of recognizing the tremendous level of expertise and interesting and effective projects being executed in the market.”

Eligibility:
Nominations for the Talend Awards are open to all users of Talend Open Studio, Talend On Demand, Talend Integration Suite, Talend Open Profiler and Talend Data Quality, regardless of geographical location, industry or goals of the nominated project. For consideration, participants need to complete a questionnaire indicating which offering they are using, the project being nominated and a detailed description of the project. Descriptions should emphasize the project's unique attributes, challenges overcome, features used and notable business results.
