Launching Talend On Demand

Talend On Demand is the industry’s first Open Source data integration Software as a Service (SaaS).

Talend On Demand consolidates Talend Open Studio metadata and project information in an online, shared repository hosted by Talend. It allows project teams of any size to consolidate data integration work in a centralized and shared repository, facilitating collaboration, object and code reuse, and promoting development best practices.

With Talend On Demand, any Talend Open Studio user can enable teamwork, in just 3 clicks:

1. Create a Talend On Demand account

2. Download and install Talend Open Studio

3. Share metadata and project information

Open Solutions Alliance

The Open Solutions Alliance that Talend co-founded in early 2007, is growing.  It now counts 22 member companies, and it is now open to user organizations with a new Customer-level membership.

Talend is involved in several of the OSA's initiatives, including:

• The OSA Interoperability Showcase at LinuxWorld in San Francisco (Aug. 6-9)

• The OSA InterOpen Customer Forum Series, of which the first edition will be held in Minneapolis, Minn. on July 20

• The first Interoperability Hack-A-Thon at the Open Source Convention (OSCON) in Portland, Oreg. (July 23-27)
