January 12 – v1.1 is here!

Talend has launched the new version of its flagship product. Talend Open Studio v1.1 is now available for download, completely free of charge, at www.talend.com.

This new version is the result of an ongoing dialog with the Talend user community, via the website and discussion groups (forums, BugTracker, Wiki, etc.). Talend has listened to its users expectations, valued their inputs, and integrated the first external contributions.

Talend Open Studio v1.1 continues to leverage the modular approach of the previous version. New components were added to the Component Library (including new Excel, POP and LDAP connectors, an enhanced row generator, etc.) and new features are enriching the core technology (for example SQL Query building, a new job Scheduler, syntax checking, etc.)

The User's Guide v0.7 has been upgraded accordingly and can also be downloaded from the web site.
