Seasoned marketing executive brings extensive enterprise expertise to help accelerate growth of big data leader
Talend, the global big data integration software leader, today announced it has hired Ashley Stirrup as chief marketing officer, responsible for driving global marketing strategy, operations and product management. Stirrup joins Talend as the company is experiencing high growth, primarily driven by its native support for Hadoop and other modern platforms that help organizations of all sizes embark on their big data journey.

Before joining Talend, Stirrup was the senior vice president of Solution Marketing at ServiceSource, the global leader in recurring revenue management. Prior to that, he was vice president of Product Marketing at Taleo Corporation, a provider of cloud-based talent management later acquired by Oracle, and group vice president of Marketing for the Delivery Systems Division at Citrix Systems. Stirrup holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from University of California, Berkeley, and a Master of Business Administration degree from Stanford University.
